The Austrian railway services
ÖBB offer a fast and direct connection between Linz Hauptbahnhof and the
Vienna airport every two hours.
Austrian Airlines passengers will be able to board train and plane with the same ticket.
Notice this train service will not be exclusive for customers of Austrian Airlines and passengers of other airlines can use this connection.

The Blue Danube Airport is at the gates of the city, just 20 minutes away from the centre. Direct flights are offered from Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, London, Palma de Mallorca, Zurich and Vienna.
You can reach Linz city center and the conference venue by the following transport services:
Since the Blue Danube Airport is a rather small airport a taxi order in advance is advised. Please do so until July 8th 2015.

A taxi from the airport to the city center will be approx. around EUR 30,00 or to the Johannes Kepler University approx. EUR 40,00.
Once you have reached the Airport we advise you to share taxis in order to save transportation costs.
NOTE: when going from or to the airport always mention ECC15 to the taxi driver or taxi agency!
The airport bus 601 runs (Mo-Sa) every 60 minutes to/from Linz. Journey time: 19 minutes. Please see the time schedule below:

Ride until stop "Linz Hauptbahnhof - Kärntner Straße", the main train station.
From there you can reach the conference venue by using
public transportation or getting a taxi. A taxi stand is located in front of the train station main entrance.
Passengers arriving in Linz are invited to use the free shuttle service between Linz Airport and Hoersching railway station from 5.00 a.m. to 10 p.m., available on request. This transfer takes about three minutes.
To order a shuttle service, please contact the information desk at the airport or the station manager at the Hoersching railway station.
This transfer takes about three minutes. From there the journey time to Linz via train is 11 minutes.

Additionally there is also the possibility to use car rental services. However, please check in advance if your hotel offers guest parking. It should be mentioned that parking in Linz, in the city center and close to the conference venue, is typically not free of charge.
