Fostered by the traditionally strong collaboration between industry and academia in Austria and in particular in the state of Upper Austria the program of ECC15 will offer two academic tours. These tours aim to provide the participants insights into applications, processes and challenges of two top ranking companies in the region.

Available are guided tours through the steel production plant of voestalpine in Linz and the Diesel engine production plant of BMW in Steyr.

Each tour will start at the conference location and the registration fee of 15€ includes the bus transfer of the participants to the companies and back to the conference. Registration for the tours can be done directly via the Papercept system. Please be aware that due to space limitations only a limited amount of tickets is available. The tours will start at the square infront of the university library, where all registered attendees should be at the given times, see the venue map for the exact position of the meeting point.
