Arriving by train

The main train station of Linz is close to the city centre and directly linked to all major transport routes. From there you can reach the conference venue using public transportation or taxi. A taxi stand is located in front of the train station’s main entrance.

The ÖBB offers convenient, lowcost connections from the whole of Austria and neighbouring countries.

WESTbahn

WESTbahn is an alternative railway operator, which covers the main train route between Vienna and Salzburg via Linz.

Public transportation

A tram station is located in the underground level of the main train station of Linz. To reach the conference venue take tram line 1 or 2 in the direction of "Universität" until the final stop. Tickets are not sold inside public transportation, please make sure to have a valid ticket before boarding. Journey time: approx. 25 minutes.

Please notice that a public transportation ticket for Linz valid during the conference days is included in the registration package.
Single way: EUR 2.00.
Day (24 hours) Ticket: EUR 4.00.
